POS System, Cerve, empowers over 300 female owned SMEs

According to the BBC, 40 percent of Nigerian woman are entrepreneurs and that is the highest rate across Africa, and Cerve took advantage of this. 

Cerve, a retail point-of-sale system, often called POS systems recently completed a campaign aimed at empowering 300 female entrepreneurs in the Fashion, Beauty and Retail Industry with technology.

The new kid on the block, allow businesses to efficiently manage in-store sales, inventory and operating tasks. The technology is amazing for SMEs since it offers an impressive array of sales, inventory, and business management features at a very affordable price.

For the campaign, Cerve opened up its software free of charge to over 300 female entrepreneurs, helping them ensure their business is put in the right track to success.

Speaking about the technology, Ayo Akinola, Co-Founder and CEO of Cerve said, “It’s funny how many seemingly big stores are still doing things manually; writing receipts with pen and paper and taking customer details in diaries. That had to stop.”

“Before now, our merchnats were either using outdated systems, or doing things completely manually. The fact that it’s so simple to use and meets their exact business needs is why small businesses love Cerve,” he added.

He further explained that with Cerve, businesses can easily manage their stock and inventory, send automatic receipts and invoices to customers, offer loyalty programs that actually work and have powerful engagement tools to ensure their customers keep coming back and spending more.
